After a week of cup matches, Canterbury Table Tennis resumed its’ winter league campaign.
In the Premier Division, Chestfield Warriors 1 were unable to contain Hoath A, losing 1-8 at home. John Ferguson (3), Phil Thomas (3) and Andy Roberts (2) for Hoath, were just too strong for the home side, with Joshua Nashed gaining the solitary win for the Warriors. Hoath then compounded their victory by winning the doubles 3-0. Hoath C also had a convincing 8-1 win against Faversham A. 3 wins each for Mike Howard and Chris Hearn and 2 for Ben Greenwood sealed the win for Hoath with Harry Law salvaging a single point for the visiting Faversham team. However, a hard fought doubles match was won by Faversham 3-2. Hoath B found themselves embroiled in a tight match against Iron Room A. Richard Carden swung the 5-4 result in favour of Hoath, winning his 3 matches, supported by 2 from Simon Hillier. The doubles match was a close 3-2 win for the visitors.
