As the end of the season approaches the top two teams in each division seem to be set and unlikely to be overtaken. In the Premier Division the leaders are Iron Room A but second placed Hoath A are eight points behind with two games in hand so look to be the likely winners. In division one CW2 have 96 points and are unlikely to be caught by second placed Choughs B who have 83 points. Division two leaders Herne Bay F lead their D team by 116 points to 97 and in division three CW9 have a ten point lead over second placed Faversham D. In division four Herne Bay K lead Faversham F by six points but also have a game in hand so are unlikely to lose their top position.

There were five matches played in the Premier this week and both top teams were in action and both recorded 9/0 victories. Hoath A beat Iron Room B and Iron Room A beat Choughs A. The two bottom teams, Herne Bay B and Heron A played one another and the result was a 7/2 victory for Heron, just Bob Edwards winning for the Bay with victories against Roger Pingram and Arthur Martin with Heron’s Di Pearce winning all three. Also in this division CW1 played two player Hoath C and won 6/3.

In Division one there were just two recorded games, a 5/4 victory for Blue Lawn over Whitstable Natives A which included an excellent win for Joe Kay over the in form Adam Goodall and a 6/3 win for CW3 over CW4 thanks to a Kell Davies treble.

In Division two Choughs C beat Blean Lions 7/2 and leaders Herne Bay F beat Choughs D by the same score.

There were three matches in division three, a resounding 8/1 win for leaders CW9 over CW8, an even better 9/0 win for second placed Faversham D over their C team and a 6/3 victory for Blean C against Herne Bay H.

The only division four match shown was a walkover for Herne Bay I against Choughs F.
