At the halfway point of the season the various divisional titles are being contested by a number of teams but the leading teams are starting to make themselves known. In the Premier Division Iron Room A are the leaders but have played two games more than second placed Hoath A who must be favourites for the title, while in the First division CW2 are opening up a gap over second placed Faversham A.

In Division two Herne Bay E are the leaders but have played two more matches than second placed Herne Bay F and in Division three Whitstable Natives B lead Faversham D by two points but have played one game more. In Division four Herne Bay K look uncatchable with a one point lead but having played two fewer games than their rivals.

There were several matches reported last week and current Premier leaders Iron Room A had a convincing 9/0 win over Heron A while CW1 had an excellent 5/4 victory over Iron Room B. In Division one two player Heron B beat Natives A 5/4 thanks to a Peter Chapman treble and CW3 beat two player Herne Bay C 6/3, Warriors Kell Davies unbeaten on the night. The other match played in this division was a 6/3 victory for Iron Room C over Faversham A.

There were just two matches recorded in Division two. Herne Bay D had a 9/0 victory over CW5 and Herne Bay E beat Blean Bravo 6/3 despite a treble from Blean’s Paul Simmonds. In Division four the leaders Herne Bay K won 5/0 against Herne Bay J, Alex and Richard Banks dropping just two sets on the night.
