In the Canterbury Premier Division this week the top of the table clash between Hoath A and Iron Room A was unfortunately postponed. With just one point separating these teams no doubt both sides will want to re-schedule for when their best players are available.

In the matches that did take place Hoath B had an impressive 8/1 win over CW1, Jake Coombes taking the sole point for the Warriors team with a good four set win over Clive Hollingsbee. Elsewhere Iron Room B went down 6/3 to Choughs B thanks to a Nick Owen treble and third placed Herne Bay A trounced Heron A 9/0.

In Division 1 the leaders Herne Bay C beat Choughs C by 6/3, Giulio Guariglia winning three for the Bay and Roy Coles responding with two wins for the Choughs side. In the only other game played Natives A beat CW3 8/1, the only success for the Warriors coming from a Dirk Froebrich win over Barrie Thomas.

Division 2 leaders Blue Lawn had a resounding 8/1 win over Herne Bay G, Malcom Peaks beating Joe Kay for the single Herne Bay point and the same scoreline saw third placed Blean A beat Choughs D. Elsewhere in this division Blean Lions helped their relegation fight with a 5/4 win over Herne Bay E and Herne Bay F trounced two man Faversham B 8/1.

In Division 3 second placed CW6 beat Choughs E 7/2, Adam Dyer winning three games for the Warriors with Richard Partridge winning both games for Choughs. Third placed CW7 beat Blean C 7/2, Simon Howe winning 3 for the Warriors and Keith Ackland responding with two for Blean and two man Herne Bay H lost 7/2 to fourth placed Faversham C. The only other game played saw Natives B beat Blean D by 6/3.

Just one match in Division 4 where runaway leaders Warriors 9 beat Faversham E by 5/0.
