Now the second half of the season is well underway the leaders in each division are starting to consolidate their positions in both the singles and doubles leagues.

In the Premier Division the leaders are Hoath A on 81 points with Iron Room A just one point behind. Both teams played last week with Hoath beating third placed Herne Bay A by 6/3, Ian Gordon winning all three games for the Hoath side. Iron Room A entertained their B side winning 8/1, the sole response from the B team coming from Lee Edgington in a five set win over Paul Smallman. In the separate doubles league the leaders are again Hoath A but Hoath B are in second place.

In Division 1 the leaders are Herne Bay C on 73 points followed by CW2 on 66 points but the doubles league is a reverse position with CW2 in first place and Herne Bay C second. Only one of these teams played last week when CW2 visited Heron B and won 7/2 with maximums from Roger Jordan and Denis Cannon.

Division 2 leaders are Blue Lawn on 60 points followed by CW5 on 56 points but the doubles league has Choughs D leading with Blue Lawn second. One notable result last week was a 7/2 victory by leaders Blue Lawn over Faversham B with another maximum from Ricky Kay for the Blue Lawn team.

In Division 2 Faversham D lead CW6 by 78 points to 65 in the singles and are also top of the doubles with CW7 in second place while in Division 4 CW9 have a massive 20 point lead over second placed Herne Bay J with identical placings in the doubles league.
