Most of the sides involved in the hunt for honours in the Singles league are also involved in the race for medals in the Doubles league but there are one or two sides that are emerging as contenders for Doubles league glory in some of the divisions.

In Division 4 Faversham C are keeping their noses in front at the top of the Doubles league, three points clear of arch rivals Faversham D.
The C side have lost just one game in the doubles to Choughs E.The latter side are 5 points behind the C side in 4th place but have the advantage of 2 games in hand and yet to be beaten in doubles this season.

The 3rd division Doubles scene sees the top 6 teams separated by just 3 points.
Leading the pack is Chestfield Warriors 5,a side that has recorded 7 out of 8 wins, losing only to Warriors 7. The latter find themselves a point behind Warriors 5,but played a game more.
A point behind them come both Herne Bay I and Dizzy Heights A,followed by Warriors 6 and Herne Bay H,both a point behind.
Choughs D are in 7th slot but could end up in the middle of the group if they can secure maximum points in the games games they have in hand.

The 2nd Division doubles situation sees Warriors 2 on top, losing only to 2nd placed,Warriors 3.
In 3rd place is Faversham B,4 points behind Warriors 3,while Herne Bay G are well placed in 4th place,5 points behind the leaders but with a game in hand.

The leading side in the doubles league in Division 1 is the one side that is not one of the top sides in the singles league.
Herne Bay C have won 6 out of 7 doubles games,losing only to 3rd placed,Heron B.
In second place are Iron Room B,two points behind the leaders but having lost to both the Bay and Heron.

Iron Room A and Hoath A are tied on the same points but Iron Room clain top spot in the Doubles league by virtue of a better games average.
These two sides met at the end of the first half and Iron Room came away winners but the leaders have suffered a rare defeat in the doubles, losing to Faversham A so cannot afford to drop points if they are to keep Hoath A out.
