4th division leaders,Faversham C,unbeaten in 5 games, faced their club colleagues,Faversham D,a side that lost its opening game but had won the next 6 games to assume second slot.
Neil Wibberley gave the leaders a great start with a 3-0 win over Ciaran McCarthy, but Lara Rodday pulled off a brilliant 3-1 victory over Kevin Bourner to level matters.
Ethan Braden and Colin Blythe fought out a dogged 5 setter before Braden made it count in the 5th set to put the D side 2-1 up.
Rodday continued her fine performance with a stunning 3-0 win over Wibberley to ensure a win for the D side and a first defeat for the leaders.
The C side scored a 3-1 in the doubles to limit the defeat to 3-2,but the D side trail the C side by just one point.
In the same division,Choughs E were looking to bolster up their challenge for promotion when they met leaders,Faversham C.
Unfortunately both Jackie Fok and Ethan Solly were both outplayed by Neil Wibberley,Mark Thomas and Colin Blythe.
The Choughs pair failed to register a win between them but managed a 3-2 win in the doubles for a solitary point that keeps them in 5th place,12 points behind the leaders but with 2 games in hand.

The 3rd division has been dominated by three Chestfield Warrior sides that had monopolised the top slots for most of the first half but that domination
is now threatened by Dizzy Heights A.
The Heights were undefeated in 7 games and faced Warriors 7,needing a good win to put them in top spot.
The unbeaten Andrew Coleman swept aside Adam Jones in 4 sets, while Yu Zhu was taken to 5 sets by Kell Davies before he grabbed victory.
Jacob Midson stopped the rot as he pulled off a 5 set win over Thomas Zhu.
From that point Heights reeled off 5 wins out of 6 to crush their opponents 7-2,with both Coleman and Yu Zhu unbeaten.
This victory takes Heights to prime spot,5 points clear of Warriors 7,but with a game in hand, which is against Warriors 5.
The situation at the foot of Division 3 is beginning to look serious for Herne Bay H.
With just one win in 7 games their recent game was against Blean D,a side that had been in trouble at the start of the season but had picked themselves up to occupy a mid table position.
Keith Ackland began brightly for Blean with a 3-0 win over Paul Messenger, while Kevin West took out Robert Nutter in straight sets.
Bay got on the scoresheet through Roger Townsin beating Jean Jones in 4 sets.
West and Ackland continued in their winning ways, both reaching their maximums comfortably, although Ackland was stretched to 5 sets by Townsin.
Mrs Jones failed to register a win but her side still got a 6-3 win that keeps them in 5th place but the Bay remain one from the bottom,6 points clear of Blean E but 9 points behind Herne Bay E.
