As teams take a break from league action to concentrate on Cup commitments the state of the 5 divisions now shows the teams pushing for honours and promotion and the teams that are like relegation candidates.

In the Premier Division Hoath A drew first blood against arch rivals Herne Bay A in their recent encounter. Hoath came out 7-2 winners but the match featured four close 5 set matches, with Ian Gordon emerging unbeaten but not before beating both Ron Rowley and Peter Roberts in 5 sets. This win sees Hoath move 3 points clear at the top with a game in hand.
New boys,Herne Bay B,have only one point from 6 games and face a monumental task to survive in this division.

As expected in the 1st division,Rough Common have assumed prime position, while Heron A occupy second place on the same number of points, ahead of Iron Room B by two points and by one point on Choughs B.
At the other end Blean A have not had the best of starts, their first five ggames yielding just 7 points while Blue Lawn are struggling again to get out of the bottom two,but with the four sides above Blean separated by just 8 points the relegation issues are far from over.

Division 2 is currently ruled by Chestfield Warriors 3,unbeaten in 6 outings, while 3 points behind them are club colleagues,Chestfield Warriors 2.
Herne Bay are on the same number of points as Warriors 2 but have played one more game.
Warriors 4 are rooted at the foot of the table, one point behind Blean C,with both sides yet to register a win.

The 3rd Division has emerged as a battle between 4 sides, separated by just 7 points.
Dizzy Heights A still maintain a 100% record but are facing a challenge from three Chestfield Warrior sides.
Warriors 7 are two points behind, then come Warriors 5 and then Warriors 6
These 4 sides have opened up a slight gap on the rest of the field, but the threat to them comes from Choughs D. This side has won 3 of its first four matches and lies in 6th place, six points behind Warriors 6 but with 2 games in hand. Choughs only loss so far this season was against leaders Dizzy Heights A,going down 4-6. David Cooke did well to beat Yu and Thomas Zhu but went down to the in form Andrew Coleman, while Richard Partridge and Jackie Fok both beat Thomas Zhu.
Blean E are struggling at the bottom of the division, along with Herne Bay H,who are 6 points ahead, but played one more game.

Faversham C are on top of Division 4 and have opened up a 9 point over second placed Dizzy Heights B.Faversham C recently lost their 100% record to their D side, losing 2-3.This win for the D side lifts them into 3rd place,12 points behind their C side but with 2 games in hand.
One point behind Faversham D come Choughs E,unbeaten in 3 games and looking to put pressure on the leaders when the two sides meet at the end of November.
